“Delicious!! I took my picky Guatemalan parents here, and they were initially hesitant due to past experiences with inauthentic Guatemalan cuisine in other Houston restaurants. However, this place was amazing and as authentic as you can get without traveling to Guatemala. Every dish was delicious and freshly made. The restaurant is clean with a very cute interior. While the customer service requires a bit of patience, it's 100% worth it. Highly recommend!“

“First of all the food was amazing! We ordered things that we’re on the menu and off. They made everything perfectly. Second, the staff was so nice, Felipe was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Lastly, Arturo came to our table and chatted with us and brought us things to taste, plus my mom wanted a special dessert that she was hoping Arturo would make and he did it just for her. Delicious Samayon!“

“Food and service is always great here. Very inviting and a great atmosphere. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered the Seafood Soup and thought it was good, I felt it was missing, crab, octopus, and clams. Sopa de Mariscos usually will have all those ingredients. Other than that, it's always very good.“
“Great smoked wings that are an alternative to they typical fried ones. Ran into their truck at Buffalo Bayou Visitor center and hit the spot after a long good walk. They serve whole wings so don’t be deceived when you only see a few wings for a higher price (think double). Good range of sauces to choose from or ask for a mix (recommend lemon pepper and hot). Also somehow have a good tasting meatless dirty rice worth trying. Looking forward to visiting them again next time.“

“I had such a great experience dining alone at Tostada Regia!
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable.
My waiter, Moises, was incredible. He was attentive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. Even though I was dining by myself, he made the experience feel personal and enjoyable.
The manager, Yeni, also came by and checked on me, which I really appreciated. That level of care and attention truly stood out.
And the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and prepared perfectly. I enjoyed every bite!
It’s not always easy dining alone, but they made it such a pleasant experience. Great service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
