This Starbucks, in a busy full-on urban neighborhood, has a real coffee house vibe. The store works as a giant team with a hands-on manager. The cafe and drive through are often packed on weekday mornings. The afternoons are quiet and easy going. Weekends are up and down busy. The staff is courteous, engaged, and hustling.
However, some customers feel like an inconvenience just by ordering a coffee. Often, no word is spoken by the employee who greets at the window, met with silence and stares. This is not inviting or friendly.
Other experiences note the best customer service, with bright interactions that are rare. One customer got a peppermint mocha, but they were out due to demand. Yet the service was so great it turned into a great experience.
A regular for over two years loves the staff, always kind and welcoming. However, lately the matcha drinks haven’t been the same quality. The matcha hasn’t been mixed well, and the texture isn’t as smooth. Still one of the favorite locations, hoping the matcha quality gets back to its usual great standard. The location is very clean and welcoming of people staying to work.
