They are open for limited hours, and it is recommended to arrive early, as there can be a line. The sushi is fresh and delicious, with generous portions—some rolls barely fit in the mouth one piece at a time. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of options. Appetizers such as Sakura Ikura Don, Spider Roll, crispy spicy sake maki, and shaggy dog roll are popular choices. For the main course, Anaju Don, Grilled Salmon on rice, and simple soba noodles are recommended. The soba noodles, in particular, are refreshing and satisfying. The miso soup and chirashi bowl are also highly rated—even those who don’t normally enjoy miso soup find it delicious. However, some may find the sashimi pieces too large. The service is excellent, though there may be a wait due to only one waitress and one chef. Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for authentic and delicious Japanese food in the heart of Chinatown.
