The owner uses the excuse that the tamales are mostly masa and don’t have a lot of meat because they are “Mexico City style tamales” ? The reason they make them like that in Mexico City is to save money and sell them not because people truly enjoy those type of tamales. This place needs to get with Texas standards on what tamales are.

Idk what some of the bad reviews are talking about when they say the food is spoiled or the service was terrible. They're always so kind when I go and the tamales are delicious. Nothing store bought is ever like homemade but these are my go-to when homemade isn't an option.
