The Yellow Cup Reviews
Ordered a green tea "for here." I'm staring at the bar waiting for my drink to be prepared but only noticed orders "to go." After a little while I got up to check on my order to find out that the order was placed in a "to go," cup and had been sitting for a while.
I let the impersonal barista boy, Nick, know that it was supposed to be "for here." He said nothing. Literally, not a word. $5.71 for a cup of tea and this is the type of disregard you can get. Laughable....read full review

The Yellow Cup is a charming coffee shop that serves a variety of delicious drinks and pastries. Their lattes are a favorite among visitors, including the special latte and the golden brown and vanilla latte, which some call the best in Houston. The pastry selection includes tasty options like oatmeal and maple pie, along with croissants and strawberry Cardamon lattes. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, with great baristas who serve phenomenal drinks, often using Oatly. The shop is usually quiet, making it a great place to read or meet friends, with a chill environment, fast wifi, and games like chess and Jenga. Breakfast tacos and other food options are available, though some find them average. Plenty of parking adds to the convenience of this great addition to the area. Expect to hear a Morrisey song at some point. Visitors have noted that the inside is bright, with ample seating and some games, making it a good place to work or relax. The tacos, especially the chorizo breakfast taco, are highly enjoyed, although sauces are served in small cups. The pastry selection, including a strawberry muffin, pairs well with the drinks, and the "for here" option provides glasses and plates for a nice touch. Overall, it is a super chill spot with great coffee, yummy pastries, and very good-looking tacos, though parking can be limited.
