In truth, the tortillas, tortilla chips, tostadas and birria I can say that there is no other place that can match it. Also, if you want more for your money, you can also buy the package of cold tortillas that has more tortillas and saves you the work of peeling them off.
I'm a Mexican food fanatic and San Luis is my go-to place for tortillas, birria, carnitas, barbacoa, tamales and salsa, when I'm too lazy to make it myself. The prices are great and the food is quite simply incredible. I'll usually load up on the meats on Saturday (which is when they have the carnitas and birria) and feast on it throughout the week. They have excellent tacos ready to go (counter service) . This is the place to get BREAKFAST egg tacos with or without chorizo ready to go and Spanish rice and beans , green or red pork stew, and other ready-to-go Mexican foods.Their tortilla chips for sale are like the ones restaurant-style. This is my go -to place to buy tortilla chips. They have miniature size tortilla chips and regular size for sale.
