“Hands down the best jalapeño sausage and cheese croissant I have ever had! The atmosphere is very welcoming and greeted with a smile. The outside could be a bit of a deterrence for someone driving by but I highly recommend taking the chance.“

“We love Sunrise Donuts and Kolaches!!! We moved from upstate NY this year, and had not found donuts we liked locally until trying Sunrise. Nothing but impressed with the experience and the professionally presented, delicious goodies! These are the best donuts I have ever had. Consistent, not greasy, no yucky aftertaste. They are made with care and attention to detail you will notice. There is a great variety of types and flavors. Our favorites are the Apple Fritters, Bavarian cream, and Raspberry filled. Genuine and welcoming owners, fantastic customer service experience. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!“

“Haven't tried the donuts yet but they do look fresh and delicious. I did try the coffee which is great and a kolache I never had before. The Boudain Kolache is one I've never seen any where else and contained a spicy mix of sausage, rice and jalapeño. It was delicious! I will be back for another one and to try everything else on the menu.“

“This donut shop is an absolute gem in our neighborhood. The place is cozy, the atmosphere is warm, and the people are incredibly kind. One thing that stands out to me is the beautiful mix of cultures among the employees — it’s the only store around here where you see that, and it makes all the difference.
I don’t know the owner personally, but I’m 100% sure he treats his employees with great respect, because it clearly reflects in the way they treat customers. I’ve always been welcomed with such kindness and genuine smiles.
One of the things I love most is meeting people from different backgrounds. There’s Kathy from the Philippines — her service is always outstanding. And today I had the pleasure of meeting Ana from Cuba, Andrea from Ecuador, and Iris from Mexico. These ladies were so friendly, so respectful, and I could also see how well they treated every customer.
It’s funny how we’re quick to write a bad review, but take forever to post a good one — so today I’m finally leaving this review that’s long overdue. God bless this business. I hope you continue to grow. I even remember one Sunday meeting the owner’s son, who was there working too — it’s beautiful to see family involved like that, especially when they’re raising the next generation with such humility.

“My kids love coming here and so do I. They consistently have good donuts, kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, etc, but my favorite is the chocolate covered donut holes. The couple that is always there serving and baking (likely the owners) are always sweet and make sure we are taken care of. I will always drive past Shipleys to come here! You can’t beat their prices either!“

“I love this place. Went the first time a few weeks ago. The donuts and pastries were delicious. The little lady who served me was precious.I have been back several times. Everything I have purchased is delicious. I even took 3 dozen mixed to some friends. They loved them. Next time I go I want to get some of beautiful breakfast sandwiches. They look very yummy but I am addicted to the donuts and pastries. I will go back at least once or twice a week.“

“Love the welcoming very nice people and they have the best iced coffee if you haven't tried it try it and I always get my favorite which is white chocolate mocha and I get an extra pump of hazelnut it is awesome and it's already kind of cold so they don't put too much ice it doesn't get watered down it's awesome better than Starbucks I haven't told them they should start putting up a chart to let people know that you can get a pump of another flavor and mixed in with yours if you want like I do just like have you since or whatever and I make them more money and make customers happy cuz I always want an extra pump of hazelnut in my white chocolate mocha it's like Christmas in a cup it's wonderful they're wonderful love it“
