“First time coming here after the reviews. Definitely a great little mom and pop store. Faye welcomes you with a smile. Had to talk to her briefly about the store and themselves. Great back story. The store is very clean and friendly. Not to mention the food is very fresh. If you don't do anything else, stop by and say to the owners Bill and Faye. You will leave with good food and a smile on their face. May God bless them both. Btw their are on their 3rd retirement go round.“

“Stopped in on a whim. The croissants are absolutely amazing. I walked in before they were ready. After a very short wait I was brought 2 steaming hot croissants and I also purchased 2 glazed doughnuts. I wish I'd purchased more croissants. The doughnuts were very good too, similar too Krispie cream but better.“

“This is one of the best places for donuts ever.
Everytime I walk in, I always feel welcome and the owners always make sure to even include my little whether it's asking him what type of donuts or engaging in small conversation with him.
Their food is always great regardless if you choose donuts, sausage and cheese biscuits, their croissants, or even their kolaches.
You will never be disappointed when you walk through their doors.“

“Just what you would expect from a place called Hometown Donuts. Locally owned, friendly service and really good food. You're always greeted with a smile whether at the drive thru or inside the shop. Not just donuts, their menu includes a variety of yummy breakfast foods, plus several types of coffees and teas. My first choice for a good, quick breakfast.“

“Shipley Do-Nuts in Cleveland, TX is basically a donut happiness factory—you walk in “just to look,” and five minutes later you’re carrying a box like it’s your new emotional support package. The smell hits you like a delicious hug from the breakfast angels, and suddenly you’re pointing at donuts like you’re drafting an all-star team: “You. You. Two of those. Add kolaches. Add coffee. Add regret later.”

Real talk, Cleveland—if you haven’t stopped at this Shipley Do-Nuts yet, you’re living life on “hard mode.” The donuts are soft, fresh, and dangerously good (hot glazed? criminal), the kolaches are legit breakfast fuel, and the staff is fast and friendly. This is the perfect stop before work, school, church, or anytime you need a win in your day. It’ll turn “I’m tired” into “I can conquer the world.”

Go early, bring a friend (or don’t—protect your stash), and grab a box for your family or office… because showing up with Shipley’s is basically community service. 🍩🙌“

“Shipley Do-Nuts is a solid go-to when you're craving a classic donut without the frills. Their glazed donuts are soft, sweet, and reliably fresh in the morning—exactly what you expect from a long-standing franchise. The kolaches are a nice savory option too, especially the ones with jalapeños.

What I appreciate most is the consistency. Whether you're grabbing a dozen before work or swinging by on a weekend, you pretty much know what you're getting, and there's comfort in that. It’s not an artisanal donut shop with wild flavors or fancy toppings, but Shipley isn't trying to be that.

If you're looking for a dependable sugar fix without surprises, Shipley delivers. Just don’t expect them to reinvent the donut game—and honestly, that’s part of the charm.“
