The sausage in the kolaches actually goes all the way thru the breading. Croissants are super soft and filled, with crispy exterior. All in all great spot. “Ordered from here and got spicy boudin kolache and let me tell you it was worth it! It had a very generous amount of filling instead of it being mostly bread and the taste was delicious! The bread is sweet contrasting the mild spice of the boudin it pairs perfectly!“

“Every time I take donuts or kolaches to my colleagues, they always ask where they're from. These people take pride in their skills and are always so kind. I go in for donuts around 0550, and they always give me a fresh batch. They pretty much melt in your mouth. They are also very affordable, with a dozen donuts running at just $7.00. I have gone to other places where the dozen costs twice as much. When I take my daughter for donuts to a shop closer to her school, she always spends close to $10.00. Here, she gets more things for just $5.00. Please visit my friends! Their donuts are incomparable to Shipley's or Dunkin' . They're delicious!“
“My family and I love this place! They make you feel welcome immediately upon walking in the door. The donuts are amazing. The apple fritters and cake donuts are amazing. My favorite is the burritos, my husbands is the jalapeño sausage kolaches, and our sons varies each visit. My son loves it here. They are attentive to his needs and always make sure to ask him directly what he'd like to order. Nobody does that anymore! Makes him feel so special. Great service and great food.“

“Whenever I passed by this place in the mornings, it would be busy so I wanted to try it out for myself and since then, this has been my go-to for croissant sandwiches and kolaches. They are so friendly and welcoming plus there’s a spacious area to sit down. Their food taste fresh everytime, I can’t recommend them enough. Just a tip— there’s another exit/entrance behind this business on Allen Genoa, so if you’re having trouble exiting back onto Shaver St., I would go through the back side. I know that part of Shaver St. gets hectic during weekdays with the high school across the street.“
“I love this donut shop..We always go there Today I ordered 3 large Kolache's 1 cream cheese danish ...I went to drive thru ... Paid $12 and some change Got home only 2 large Kolache and my cream cheese danish .. So I went back and told the lady she only gave me 2...She started arguing with me saying she gave me 3 ..She gave me a closed bag when I got home bag was still closed .... She was arguing with me in front of other customers ..It was embarrassing .. She was determined to convince me I was a liar .. I go there ALL the time and always got what I ordered ..When I went back it was just to pick up my other Kolache I had paid for . I didn't think a lot about it cause we all make mistakes that was until she wanted to argue .. She was Very rude about it too... I'm the one that should have been upset having to go back !!!!! I talked to the owner he said he would talk to her.. I give 4 stars because they have good Kolache and donuts !!! But that lady !!!!Ugh !!!! Not the younger one ..She is also an owner .. The owner gave me a dozen donut holes just to be nice .. “This was our first time getting donuts in the eat end and to be honest this place was amazing! They are very sweet and welcoming we had a dozen donuts; they were fresh, yummy and my 4 year old ate all of it not just the chocolate part. He loved them ?? the kolaches were great & the ham egg and cheese croissant as well . There vanilla iced coffee was also amazing ?? 5 starts hands down better than Shipley ‘s . “Thank you for the good deal I got on the Birthday Donuts and Kolaches I ordered. My granddaughter loved the donuts and we all enjoyed the Kolaches especially the breading of the kolaches it was so flaky and delicious. When I couldn't find a donut shop to make the Donuts on my side of town I found yall which isn't far from my granddaughter and I was in no way disappointed. I would definitely recommend you shop for both donuts and kolaches.“
“Oh my gosh, I could not say a bad thing about Texas Donuts! Niri ( I hope I spelled it right) and her husband are amazing. I love the spinach and feta thingy they have ( not sure what its actually called, lol.) The ham and swiss roll is so good. I love that they cute up the ham and its not just a solid piece. They have brisket, boudin, regular sausage and cheese, jalapeno sausage and cheese kolaches, and much more. The iced coffee is pretty good. If you have not checked out this place, then you need too! Thank you guys for serving the Pasadena community! And remember, this is a mom and pop shop, so the price may be very different then a big chain donut shop. Shopping local and supporting a small business will not always be cost effective. I have no problem paying their prices in comparison to Dunkin Donuts, I'd rather give Texas Donut Houses my business.
