“We went to Donald's Donuts this past Monday. It was our first experience there and believe me we will be going back!! Everything was fantastic! “I walked into Shipley’s Donuts thinking I’d just grab a quick donut and go… yeah, that plan didn’t stand a chance.

First off, the smell hits you before you even fully open the door. It’s like warm sugar, fresh dough, and bad decisions all teamed up to say, “You’re not leaving with just one.” And they were absolutely right.

I get up to the counter, and everything is just sitting there looking way too good for its own good. Glazed, chocolate, filled, iced—it’s like a donut fashion show and I’m the judge with zero self-control. I tried to act responsible and order a couple… next thing I know I’m pointing at half the case like I just won the lottery.

Now let’s talk about those glazed donuts. Fresh. Soft. Melt-in-your-mouth type of soft. Like, you bite into it and it just disappears before you even fully process what happened. I genuinely considered ordering another dozen just out of respect.

The kolaches? Don’t even get me started. Warm, fluffy bread wrapped around that sausage like it was made with love and a little bit of magic. That’s not a snack—that’s a problem, because now I want one every morning.

And somehow everything was still warm. Not “kinda warm if you believe hard enough”—I mean actually fresh. Like they made it five minutes ago just for me specifically.

The employees were super friendly too, moving fast and still keeping it chill. They’ve clearly seen people like me before—walking in with good intentions and leaving with a box that could feed a small office.

I walked out with way more than I planned, holding a box of donuts like it was treasure. No regrets. None.

Overall, Shipley’s didn’t just sell me donuts—they sold me happiness in a box.

“Decided to try this place out on opening day because I work in the area and I definitely was not disappointed. I live in the Clear Lake area and have driven here on my days off to get something. The menu is great and the owners work hard to make sure everyone is satisfied. Even when they’re busy, they are still attentive to every customer. “Every time I take donuts or kolaches to my colleagues, they always ask where they're from. These people take pride in their skills and are always so kind. I go in for donuts around 0550, and they always give me a fresh batch. They pretty much melt in your mouth. They are also very affordable, with a dozen donuts running at just $7.00. I have gone to other places where the dozen costs twice as much. When I take my daughter for donuts to a shop closer to her school, she always spends close to $10.00. Here, she gets more things for just $5.00. Please visit my friends! Their donuts are incomparable to Shipley's or Dunkin' . They're delicious!“

“Mrs Elsa that works here is very friendly and nice, she's always in a good mood and smiling when I come in. The food is delicious, the kolaches are great but I especially love the spinach and feta or strawberry and cream kolache that they have. Also they have Vietnamese iced coffee which you can't just get anywhere, and it uses cafe du monde coffee to give it that authentic flavor. The only complaint is that I'm getting fat since I work in this area. 😆
