Nice remodeling job from the old Buddy's place. Very clean and tidy. Very friendly service. Excellent salsas - ask for the hot ones in addition to the tasty but mild. Terrific carnitas - soft porky shreds crisped up on the edges. Homey enchiladas, excellent rellenos, good fresh ice tea, delicious (house made?) tortillas. Highly recommended.
Beyond thrilled to write this review to this wonderful location that just opened! Don't let the name fool you because it's not just a "Taco Shop", they have an extensive menu options! Their items are unique since you won't find them in surrounding areas of Ingram or Kerrville. The Jumbo Fried Shrimp(pictured) were super delicious and crunchy (huge plate!) I've now been here 3 times in the past 2 weeks so figured it was time to post a review. I took some pictures during my first visit which I'd shared with family. So far I've tried dishes with 3 of their proteins: asada in a classic burrito, pastor in a taco with cilantro & onions, and amazing carnitas for lunch today on a carnitas plate with rice, beans, & pico de gallo.
