“Look, we were going to my in laws and needed a quick lunch, we weren’t expecting much to be honest. Our poor planning put us in the middle of nowhere at lunch….so we took one of the two options in Iola…my expectation? Dry overcooked meat and bad sides. What we found? Legit BBQ, to be honest the brisket was likely from a Prime brisket….ridiculously good. Sides were all yummy. And my wife’s grilled chicken sandwich was moist, perfectly cooked, really good flavor, nice bun.

The people there were super friendly (of course). Not one complaint. We will definitely be back when we make our way to Magnolia again.

“As I walked in, there were several people sitting outside talking, after getting inside I quickly realized that they were the employees. All of the employees. One finally came in and I asked if I could order a pizza, I was told the ovens "weren't working". They had a couple of small pizzas already in the rack for sale. They were lying to my face. The ovens were working fine, it was the employees who "weren't working". That will be my last stop in this store. What a joke.”
