This was a super find!! We were looking for food after the HS football game and didn’t want burgers. Found this spot about 10min drive down betline and super glad we did. The portions are huge! You can literally split it and still be stuffed. We got some our rice platter with extra meat because we didn’t realize how big they were and also just to add more protein. Gyro Nation - New York Style is a Mediterranean restaurant that offers generous portions and high quality ingredients. The portions are huge, so much so that one meal can easily be split or saved for two days. The gyro meat is flavorful and not overly fatty, the rice is nice and seasoned, and the red & white sauce on top is delicious. The fiery sauce is an added bonus. Guests can enjoy a gyro & chicken bowl with rice, a chicken and gyro combo, or a gyro with lots of diced veggies and meat on soft and warm pita bread. The baklava is a good sweet treat after a meal. The restaurant is clean and inviting, with a laid back atmosphere. The staff is great, friendly, and very helpful. Service is fast and attentive, making sure the food is great and up to quality. The cost is justified by the portion size. It is a great place to go for late dinner, as they stay open late. It is highly recommended for those who want to try Mediterranean food.
