Jalsa Place Restaurant and Bakery

I have been here more than a few times since it is close to my work. I am not sure what all the bad reviews are about. It is definitely a "hole in the wall" and you may have be a little flexible with a few aspects of dining here, but I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The food is excellent. I do think that the vegetarian dishes are way better than the chicken and fish dishes, but I find that generally true of all Indian cuisine. this was my first time to this place for other than just a Tea. though i couldnt get what i wanted to eat and end up eating something else, i should say i was overwhelmed by the their service very courteous and attentive.. will go back...

We went for tea this weekend and we loved the food and the tea was awesome. The only reason I am providing 4 stars is actually because of environment and not food. The restaurant needs to be aired a little as it can put people off as we enter. However, we still decided to give it ago and we have no regrets. We ate the chicken puff, egg puff, the two different types of vada and stuffed mirchi. It was really good. I would definitely go again but I hope they are reading this review...read full review
