This hidden gem is known for its possibly city-best pastries and definitely superior croissants. The gram-worthy food, which includes a breakfast platter with two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and thick toast with house-made jam for $6.50, is as delicious as it is beautiful. The relaxing atmosphere, complete with a shuffle board table and views of the canals, makes it a great spot for a meal or a break. The food is made from scratch daily, and the smells of freshly baked pastries and lavender lattes fill the air every morning. Parking is available in the lot outside or in the parking garage. The restaurant is fairly kid-friendly, with the canals and walking paths located just outside.
