Good morning! I wanted to recognize the barista working the drive-thru around 7:40 a.m. today. I didn’t catch his name, but he had curly hair and was wearing a Starbucks hat. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. When he handed me my drink, he did so with such warmth and sincerity it felt like he truly cared, not like he was just doing a job. This Starbucks Coffee Company has a really cool setup inside and a drive thru, with a great location for quick coffee. The service is often quick and friendly, with some staff showing contagious cheerfulness that brings a smile. However, the parking is atrocious, with illegally parked cars and no spaces available in the mornings. An empty parking lot across from the drive thru is blocked off. Recent reviews note that hot drinks are sometimes lukewarm because the coffee or milk was not properly hot. The food is sometimes stale, undercooked, or overcooked, and the gingerbread latte was weak and not drinkable. Orders are not always read correctly, with instructions ignored. While the location is beautiful and clean with plenty of sitting inside, the consistency has declined over the last 6-8 months. Despite this, some customers find the service A+ even when busy, and baristas are praised for handling stressed customers with a smile.
