The waiters are nice and super attentive music is kinda loud but they be jamming!! Lol We made a stop here around 11pm on a Saturday my brother was coming from San Antonio and he loved it! “Have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. I've had their fajita, pastor, and barbacoa. All meats are very flavorful and delicious. Their quesadillas always hit the spot. Since my family is bigger now, we tend to get the special plate. It consists of a plate of meat with melted cheese on top and a stick of tortillas. If you're not a cheese person, you can get the regular plate, which is the meat and tortillas.“

“This is why I love Yelp. I'm giddy when Yelp reviews point me to places like this, that I never would have found on my own. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the vibes we found at Cochinita! We ordered The Desayuno (not pictured because my husband dug in before I could snap one) and the 3 Leches French Toast, a latte and a London Fog. All plates were emptied before we left. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and was beautifully plated. They have a collection of house made sauces and oils available to spice up your meal (and you can even purchase some to take home.) Cochinita is a real treat. The neighborhood is worth a cruise after breakfast for the murals, too!“

“Post HTX food hall location. They usually keep a long line but moves it pretty fast. I got their Fuego fries with birria and it was delicious! The fries were nice and crispy and seasoned, and the meat was good as well. This is probably my new favorite dish with them.“

“First time in this place, my experience was delicious. It is a taqueria run by its owners, Mrs. Juanita and Mr. Hector. I know their names because I asked the lady her name because she herself served us. They made us feel very comfortable explaining the dishes and breakfasts. that they served, we ordered some red chilaquiles with fried eggs and some ranchero eggs. They give you the option between refried or black beans. The dishes came accompanied with 4 handmade corn tortillas. The only recommendation I would make to the owners would be to set the prices of We paid $33 for the dishes for 2 breakfasts, 2 canned cokes and a coffee. We didn't know the prices. The place is very clean. The food is excellent. The service is 100% good. I really recommend that you come and try the homemade food they serve here. I will return. try the ribs, they looked very delicious ?“
“This is my favorite place to get tacos by far! There isn't a lot of room inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat but you can eat in the car LOL. Expect long lines when you go to eat at brother's tacos. But it's only because their food is delicious!Parking: Parking is very limited and most people end up parking on the side of the street. However, the last time I was there was about a week ago. Ok my last visit I did notice a city worker putting fines on windshields of cars that were parked on the side of the curb in the street. Previously I had never seen this.“

I didn't have any issues parking on a Saturday morning. I tried their breakfast tacos and they were good but I don't think the flour tortilla was homemade. Not a deal breaker for me but it was missing that extra touch. However, the tacos were at a great price point, I spent ~$15 for six of them. I would consider them again if I'm hungry near EaDo.“

The server piled on the pork skin so it seemed that I had more of the skin than actual meat. The taste however, was good on both.I also ordered menudo and asked for corn (hominy) to be added. The server piled on the corn so it seemed that half of the container was corn and not menudo. Once again, the taste was very good. I will say that it did have a little too much grease on the top of the soup though.I think the flavors are there but what I received based on the above, could have given me a better overall experience. I went there for carnitas and menudo which should have been what I received the most of and not the sides (pork skin and hominy).Fix the ratios of what is served and this would definitely be a five star location!“
“This is the first time I visit Marcos Seafood. My dining experience was great. I had a Vuelve a la Vida cocktail and it was delicious. Then I had the fried shrimp and fish. The only problem I had is when we first got here there were plenty of tables outside and we told them we want to eat out there. The gentleman who seated us said he didn't think that was possible. All are delicious.My go to's are the tacos, with my favorites being the zanahoria, and both pork tacos. The zanahoria taco consists of roasted carrots topped with dressed greens, queso fresco, and toasted pumpkin seeds. Their chicharron is made from roasted pork belly. It has crispy skin and plenty of meat. Something that sets them apart from other places that serve tacos is that they nixtamalize the corn for their tortillas. They're legit.“

A variety of drinks to choose from as well. I walked over on my lunch break one day and tried them out. I have gone back several times since then. “Went for lunch with the wife at 2:00 pm. Restaurant clean. All the employees including the owner were super nice. Our food was fresh and great. We decided to have margarita. Sorry no pics. Best part it was happy hour so $5 for one was great and then the boss stopped by and gave us another shot to fill our glass back up on the house. Not the greatest I've had but I will definitely will get another one on our next visit. “My first time visiting Houston and decided to have Mexican food for dinner, I saw this place near my hotel and stopped because we thought it was so beautiful. The outside patio was gorgeous, it was even more beautiful inside. Wow I'm glad we decided to stop it was Amazing! We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas the steak was so delicious and tender it melted in my mouth and the chicken also so delicious and tender came with a delightful garlic butter. The beans that came with were great. For dessert I recommended the tres Leche cake. The restaurant manager Cane was so friendly and visited with us making us feel so welcome. Our servers Genisis and Wendy were wonderful.“

“Needed a quick bite near the airport, and this did the trick. Got a torta with Milanesa, and a quesadilla with Tampiquena - both were very good. The torta was toasted, and the Milanesa worked well (I always have issues with the chopped meats falling off the torta on the way to my mouth, so a single slab of meat is much more efficient, as well as tasty). The Tampiquena was really good, had a strong smoky grilled flavor. The chips were crisp and fresh and the salsa was warm (never had that before but it was tomatoey and spicey). Service was great!“

Highly recommend any caldo and any plate like the Chile rellenos ... The only thing that I had to get over is that they don't sale beer or margaritas and sometimes for the cruda you need a nice cold michelada.. over all 5 stars“
