“We had the pleasure of staying here for a quick little weekend trip for a friends wedding. The food alone took our breath away with such detail and taste it was out of this world. The whole house was adorable and comfy and the rooms had the perfect space for our needs and was quiet. We enjoyed swinging on the wrap around porch and enjoy s’mores on the back patio by the fire. If we find ourself back in Jefferson we would not pick to stay anywhere but here! The service was polite and tentative to our needs! Pictures do not do the cutest of the place justice ! “First of all the smell when I walked in was like home. I could smell the flavor and the seasoning it was so captivating. The first course arrives, (appetizer) CROSTINI: grilled focaccia topped with jalapeño goat cheese smothered in a rich homemade marinara sauce!!!!!😋and it’s like a tiny masterpiece on a plate. The second course the PECAN TOPPED SALMON: wild caught Alaskan salmon topped with pesto and a pecan crust absolutely cooked to perfection. The flavors are layered, fresh, and vibrant. Each bite is a perfect balance of textures and tastes that somehow both surprise and comfort you at the same time. The German brown bread with maple butter on top was the right amount of sweetness. Again😋….. The whole experience lingers with you long after you’ve finished. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an event. And when you leave, you can’t help but feel grateful, as if you’ve just had the privilege of experiencing something rare and extraordinary.
