We paid $60 for 2 kids meals, were priced at 5.99 and 7.99, 2 adult meals, one prices at 13.99 and one prices at 14.99. Not only did they charge taxes on the full order, but they also charge $1 and some cents for each individual item. If they only would’ve charged the regular tax, it would’ve been $49, but they charged $12 extra on taxes with each individual item. Mom and I just had dinner here tonight, and it was AMAZING!! Yummy beans at the bean bar, what was hands-down one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve had in years slathered in a delicious cream gravy, top tier sweet tea and a takeaway piece of Brown Cow cake that I’m sloooowly working on even now.
Food was 10/10, staff and service were 10/10. We will DEFINITELY be back!
The food was absolutely amazing and Jeanette was the best host ever! We went for lunch, and it was so good, we returned for dinner! Southern Comfort, Shrimp Po’ Boy, Shrimp and Grits, and a dish not on the menu…the Half and Half (Crawfish Étouffée with fried crawfish on the side) …also a Brown Cow Cheesecake! All delicious and definitely gave us our Cajun fix. If you’re in Jefferson, you better get your hiney in there! So yummy! 😋
