“Guys I’m telling you that this place is a diamond in the rough. Wanted to try a new place and thanks to Google I found this place. Wonderful atmosphere- was very calm when I went to eat. Good music. Lots of TVs with sports on. Mango margaritas were very tasty, smooth and sweet. Food was amazing. Had nachos, beef enchiladas, the toritos plate, and a King Kong burrito. All delicious. Very tender fajita beef. They also have doordash and uber eats available. Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place! The food is incredible and the staff is so attentive and friendly. I always get the fajita combo with chicken and beef. Their salsa + meat are honestly phenomenal. I love that they added the new sautéed spinach as a side- super delish. Matt, the GM, is so kind, attentive, and just has the best customer service! The staff looks like they’re having a great time, which makes the environment a lot more inviting. Definitely recommend!“

“Not our normal go to for Mexican food, but I like to try different places. My wife got a new job, so while the kids were at school, we had a little celebration lunch. Service was a little slow for only a few others in there, I had to flag our waitress to order and again to get our check, but overall not bad, food came out really fast. My wife had cheese enchilada with rice and beans. I had the (3) tacos lunch with two hard and one soft taco. Chips and dip were pretty good, red salsa would be better if it was warm. Both are meals were very good, fresh and delicious and we had a small take-out left over. Located less than a 1/2 mile off I-290 beside the Krogers, pretty easy access for travelers.“

“My neighbor called me and wanted fajitas and she wanted to go to Pappasito's Airtex. We are both widows and we had not been to that location in quite a while. We had about a 15 minute wait around 3:45. We got our table and our waiter was quick to attend to us. We got our drinks and appetizers ordered. When he brought our drinks and appetizers to us he took our order, we split an order of beef and chicken fajitas for two with extra rice and charro beans, then he asked if there was anything else we needed. We were fine. Our order came out quickly and he again asked how we were . He was very attentive and very pleasant making sure we were accommodated. As we were finishing our meal, he asked us if we wanted a desert. We were unsure, so he brought out the sample tray. We chose the ice cream balls rolled in coconut and pecans with caramel syrup drizzled on top. OMG, it was awesome. Just to let you know, the last time I was at Pappasitos was at Deerbrook and I took my son out for Father's Day. The service was not good and our waitress was no where to be found until we were ready to leave. My neighbor, June and I were very impressed with our waiter, Noah, and we will be back and will ask for him. He is knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, professional and is doing a great job as he made our evening into an awesome dining experience He will be an asset to any business because he cares. “Stopped by this morning to try this local taco spot. First off, the location is very clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. I'm big on supporting local businesses—especially when the staff is as friendly and welcoming as they were here.

I did have to wait about 15 minutes for just two breakfast tacos, but the positive energy from the staff helped make up for the delay. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese taco along with a barbacoa taco. Unfortunately, both were a bit underwhelming in flavor.

That said, the reviews are what brought me in, so I’m hoping this was just an off day. I’ll likely give it another try soon and hope for a better experience next time.“

“We went to the new location for the first time last night. I’m happy to report they have the same delicious food and friendly staff. There were 6 of us at the table. All food came out fairly quickly from ordering time and we were all served at the same time. It is saying a lot because the restaurant was packed at the time on a Sunday evening. The food was served piping hot. My teens are very particular about their tortillas and fajitas …they were very happy with the food quality and taste. The price is fair comparing to today’s food prices. I had the enchiladas en molé, mom had fish tacos, and dad had tortilla soup. So good! We will be back soon!“

“We recently visited the newly opened Carmelita’s Kitchen in Cypress, and it quickly became a favorite! From the moment we stepped onto the cozy patio, we loved the inviting and charming atmosphere. Inside, the décor is well thought out, creating a warm and welcoming vibe.

Our server, Ana, was incredibly attentive and polite throughout the meal. We started with coffee and a delicious tray of shrimp taquitos — a perfect appetizer. The brunch menu is impressive, and we decided to try the chilaquiles and Baja tacos. Both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely flavorful. Each bite was a treat — well-prepared without being overdone.

I mentioned to the Manager on the way out that the only thing missing was real Salt and Pepper Shakers. Fast food places use the little packets but a nice place like Rudy’s should IMHO have the real thing.
