“Been to a lot of high end restaurants in different states spent anywhere from $300 to $500 per couple, this restaurants has the Best Customer Service I've had. We were greeted with such kindness from the door to table Service and back to management. The Mariachi Band was excellent so bring cash to tip these guys.It's totally like being in another country and yet still in Texas.I recommend this Restaurants if you want to get out of the country for a short time go to this Restaurant.“

“I've been going here since I was a small child 30 years ago. It was my family's go-to Mexican restaurant. I've lived outside of Houston for 20 years but when I'm back in town, I always try to stop by. The manager still remembers me and my family when we stop in and makes us feel like home. Always brings back good memories. The food is largely the same as always and great at that!“

“We were a party of 3. Two of us had the quesabirria tacos, served with rice and a cup of consome (prepared broth in which the meat was cooked and used for dipping the tacos). They were delicious!! I've just NEVER had the broth made/served with alot of Garbanzo beans in any other restaurant or homemade by several people I know. It took me by surprise, especially because I do not like Garbanzos.I will DEFINITELY order quesabirria tacos again, but request to have just the broth.“

“One of the best mexican hole in the walls ive been in since arriving in Houston. Have tried many places but none compare to this place. Great warm service and great food to accompany it. The breakfast tacos are too die for and heavily reccomend in the morning with a side of their delicious coffee. Will definitly be coming back for the foreseeable future.“

“This place is great. Good prices, very generous with how much they give you of everything, and all the food is seasoned well. If you have any special requests, like things being put on the side and such so that you can take the food home, they take care of it well with no fuss ?? “We saw this restaurant in social media and wanted to come check it out. It did not disappoint!! I had the delicious chilaquiles and it came with homemade chips! We also ordered the Jorge plate with spicy pork tamales covered with eggs and side of beans and potatoes. It was another excellent choice.The Tamale joint is very clean, comfortable and amazing customer service from Jorge the Manager! He was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic! We will definitely come back soon to try the enchiladas!“

“I was craving Mexican food and found Angie's on a Spring Branch google search. It was awesome.. the restaurant is colorful and quaint. The service was friendly and fast. I ordered the beef guisado plate and an order of chips and green salsa. The meat was so tender and flavorful, the corn tortillas were pillowy and fresh. “Originally we went to the Maryland St location and it was closed, this location looks a little more modern. Since it was closed we decided to try their Lamb st location, I gotta say I was skeptical at first, the place doesn't look that nice from the outside. Inside it's a typical Mexican restaurant, but the food was amazing. Molcajete azteca was good although would have liked the stone hotter and the food didn't feel that hot but over all great taste. Also had their prawns, mussels, shrimp and octopus plate and the sauce it's drenched in is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend.“

“Excellent tacos—fresh, tasty, tender (fajitas and al pastor). At $2.45 per taco, it’s a great deal. Very nice guy cooking in the evening. It’s a taco truck in the parking lot of this 76 gas station, with a shack added on and 2 large picnic tables. I’m sending my friends here, too, who work nearby.“

“I decided come by and try Mi Tierra as it is around the corner from my office in the up and coming Oak Forest neighborhood. When you first walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff. There were a few other tables enjoying their meals already, but was able to be sat with my party right away. We ordered the "award winning" tacos al pastor as well as the mahi mahi fish taco's. Both were great choices. Light and refreshing the perfect amount of taste. Paired with Mi Tierra margarita. The meal was satisfying. I wish I would have come in sooner. “Awesome authentic monterrey, nuevo leon Northern mexico region, mexican tacos. Try the home made menudo just like guelita's one as well but they said is only on Friday's and Saturday's. If you go to court at cypresswood, just walk around the corner. Once you try'em you'll go back again.“

“I really enjoyed my first time experience at Mario's. The owner of Best Vacuums and Jake at Discount Tires recommended Mario's to me last week. They spoke very highly of Mario's and said food was great and prices reasonable. My husband and I went there Saturday and found they were right on both scores. Staff were friendly too. “Sad to say that I have worked in the area for years and I never thought of coming here but my friend asked me to lunch so I finally got the chance to go. I was missing out! I had the ceviche which was absolutely delicious and a margarita which was STRONG but delicious. Loved it so much we went the next day and got a bit too drunk off the margaritas for Happy Hour lol which I haven't done in years but it was awesome! Definitely coming back but now I'll have to watch myself cause these margaritas are deliciously dangerous! Haha“

“I was there for a company event. There were about 30 of us and some of us didn't get served until the others had already finished. It seems they weren't really prepared for such a huge group even though we had made reservations.Still the food was very good. There were some interesting twists on the standard Tex-Mex menu.I don't drink but it seems those who did were very happy with the bar and the service from the bar was great as well.The wait staff did as well as they could, it was mainly the kitchen that was holding things up.“

You get complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa was so deliciously spicy. I ordered the chicken flautas and loved them. They were neither too dry nor too oily. Perfectly crispy and they paired well with the salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Their rice was cooked well, and I'm a sucker for good arroz rojo.
