Humble Grounds Coffeehouse is a great little coffee shop in Old Katy with a modern vibe. It is great for working, with lots of outdoor space with fans or awning and great tables for getting work done. The shop is lovely and intimate, perfect for relaxing while reading a book. The staff is friendly, though some reviews note the service was not good. The coffee is good, with options like the dirty Cinnabon iced chai and cappuccinos. Food includes tacos, “the breakfast club”, and a gluten free pastry option (banana muffin). The coffee beans, such as the Chiapas region of Mexico, are reasonably priced. The establishment is faith based and kid friendly, with a small town, mom and pop vibe. Street parking is available, and prices are fair.
