The room was disappointing. No shelves in shower to be able to hold your razor or toiletries. It's hard to shave for ladies. I'd rather the tub/shower combo. They say they do room cleaning every other day, which is fine, but they offer no place to hang towels in the bathroom. There is no place to put your phone or drink for a person who is sleeping on the outside of the bed. I have a cpap and had to place it on the floor as the room only has a nightstand in the middle of the beds, for the 2 queen rooms. A/c was a little loud. The room was quiet, though, for all the construction that's going on outside. The location was great. You can walk to the Kemah boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops. Drinks are a little expensive in the hotel bar, but it's convenient. Breakfast extra. There was microwave and fridge in room. Flat screen TV.

I have PERMANENT STATUS as I travel for my career. All I was trying to do was get the obligatory bottle of water that comes with every other Marriott I have stayed in. The stafff in this hotel are completely clueless and refused to to provide that water. In fact they wouldnt even answer the phone, I asked for manager and was given a card for Kenneth Fairbanks 281.334.0003 who also never answered. AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS. Poor service rendered by moronic staff.

This hotel was a last minute plan. This is the hotel we stayed at right after we checked out of Sonesta ES suites. This is a good hotel. It was nice and comfortable bed were comfortable and room was nice nice pool and great price we enjoyed our stay

The hotel is nice, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are laid out nicely, although note the HVAC is a wall/floor unit and is loud when running. I would say for the price, the bath amenities are very cheap/low end feeling and could be simply upgraded - felt like a Red Roof / motel bath soap/moisturizer offering. The main reason for the lower rating is the external street/road car and parking lot noise outside - VERY VERY LOUD and NOISY so not a full nights sleep unfortunately.

Would of gave lower rating if possible. Started with check in, was given keys to room with room number written on keyholder. Went to that room and tried key nothing, tried other key nothing, then the door opened and we got cussed out by a man who was in the room. Went back to check in told her situation looked puzzled and gave us keys to another room on 5th floor. Room had water leaking from ceiling running down bedroom door. Looked like an on going issue as it was repainted at least couple of times. Was room tested for mold? Next morning things got even worse, went to take a shower and no hot water. Had to take a COLD shower. My wife and sister in law didn't even shower because of this. Told front desk as we checked out and she acted like she could care less. Would NOT RECOMMEND staying here.

Loved the spacious two bedroom corner suite! We could see a bit of ocean and the tall rides of Kemah Boardwalk. Easy walking distance. Room could use some dishware or serving ware in the many empty cabinets near microwave and fridge. Store needs more inventory.
I wish I had read the negative reviews. 1. Safe was broken. 2. Coffee pot was broken. 3. When did they stop putting anything for your bathroom hand towel to hang from? 4. The air in the building common areas is so still and stuffy that I had a panic attack. 5. Humidity on the coast should NOT cause the table in the room to become so wet that I must wipe it with a cloth and hope my electronics were alright. 6. Desk light was broken. 7. One small chair for seating, very dated and uncomfortable. 8. Platform beds with no springs killed my back. 9. The A/C was cranked really cold when I got there. I soon found out that's the only way the temperature stays steady. Otherwise it slips to hotter and hotter. And for anyone who doesn't know, they don't provide breakfast. You have to pay for it in their bistro. And small thing, but to me huge.. a tip... they don't sell Coke, so if you dislike Pepsi bring your own Cokes. I hate this hotel. What a mistake. The lady in the bistro was very nice, as was the desk manager (Kevin I think?) who brought me a tea kettle. But you have to go down to the lobby as the phone from the room just rings and rings forever. Location location people are saying. Well, sure if you want to stay in a terrible place for location. I sure won't again. Oh and speaking of location, the construction on the road outside hasn't stopped in years, so you will have construction noise no matter what. While not the fault of the hotel at all, it's something to consider.

The room was very minimal and showed a lot of wear. Bathroom has a light only in the shower. Nothing over sink or vanity but there was a light switch attached to nothing. No coffee pods in room. When we called the front desk they said we had to get dressed and come down to get some. At checkin someone else was asking for the same thing. Was told breakfast ended at 11. When we went down at 10:45 all the chairs were on the table and there was no food.

Great property and nothing like it used to be! Rooms are clean and updated with modern fixtures and furniture. Location is perfect in regards to walking distance to boardwalk and restaurants. Area is safe and fire department 100 yards away. Well lit parking lot and clean. Pool is small but clean and not crowded. Bar area is nice and there is seating both inside and out. Staff was attentive and kind. This place is a great choice for the area and close to everything you need!

Everything you want is nearby! Grocery store 1/2 mile down the road. Gas station across the street. TONS of restaurants within blocks and a very short walk to the boardwalk. There is a pizza and beer joint essentially in the parking lot. Highway is a block away. Bar, restaurant.....this place has it all!

Restaurant and bar are not avaulable. Location location location Very much walking distance to boardwalk and our favorite restaurant tbone toms! Staff was excellent and room value amazing. Family of 5 got the 2 bedroim suite Highly recommend it. 2 king size beds and 1 sifa sleeper with a keurig mini fridge double sink in the restriom 2 safes in the roim and a keurig! Only complaintbis the view frim our suite was nin existant and housekeping crew left a womens underwear in one of the closets from previos inhabitants. But the value of this room will have us back! Oh yeah room had 3 TVs!!!
