“Don't let the building fool you. (I have rule for food establishments the older it looks the better it is). This place is unbelievable. Bark on the brisket and pulled pork was a perfect balance of seasoning, smoke and natural flavor of meat. I had the brisket, ribs and pulled pork (three meat plate) Brisket was moist and perfect balance of flavor, the ribs fell off the bone as I picked them up off the plate, and yet again perfect balance all the way through, the pulled pork was excellent and again balanced just right. The BBQ sauce was a perfect blend for pork or beef just added that extra level to all the meats. Now to the desserts!!!! The buttermilk pie was excellent not to sweet not to savory, the chocolate cake was like a true home made cake and the pecan pie was devine!!!!! Had to try all three with my family. Kerrville is lucky to have an establishment as good as this place. Well done 5 stars all the way around“

“low rating on atmosphere because we’re here at 4pm (only 2 other diners are here, not a busy time at all)….and I’m counting at least 5-6 tables with small pieces of trash/debris on them. Not a very clean appearance. Tables need to be cleaned off/wiped down.“

“We (6 adults & 4 teens) were in Kerrville for a softball tournament and wanted bbq but not from a “chain” I found Buzzies in my Waze and read the reviews and decided to try it! The food was amazing… we had brisket, sausage, potato salad, mac&cheese… COLD BEER! The service was great the owner came over to greet us… highly recommend this place if your in Kerrville“

“When I get the craving, this is where I go. My favorite is the stuffed potato with pulled pork.They are huge! Everything on it plus jalapenos is my go to item. All their sauces; regular, sweet, spicy are superb! There is absolutely no way to devour this in one sitting. Wish I would have taken an image of it to upload but once it's in your hands, you can only focus on biting into this gem. The staff are so nice and accommodating that you feel like your part of a family. Bravo Dickies Kerrville!!!!“
