The Boat is a casual restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The service is generally good, with attentive staff and a friendly, quick approach. Taylor, the bartender, was very polite with a sweet attitude, ensuring cups never got empty and checking in frequently. The food is a highlight, with fried shrimp and fish amazing, crispy and full of flavor, perfectly cooked and not dry. Fries are good, as is the tartar sauce. The super sampler is a huge amount of food. The frog legs are consistently worth it. The view of the river is a major plus, especially with outside seating. The bar area tends to be a local hangout, giving the place a laid-back, small-town vibe. The view from the back deck is a nice bonus, a great way to relax.
