“We’ve been eating at McKay’s Ranch House for years, and it’s always fantastic! If you want some good home cooked food, this IS the place. Salad bar is always fresh. Chicken fried steak and chicken tenders are delicious as well as all their sides. Don’t skip out on dessert, especially the bread pudding. I’ve never had better. Great staff as well, always friendly and attentive. 5 stars all the way!“

“I have lived in this area for almost 13 years and am sad we have not found this restaurant till now. The service, the food, the atmosphere were all on point.

Now let’s talk about the food specifically…. We started with the Lobster Nacho’s and I can honestly say they are not what I was expecting. Lots of lobster and unlike anything I have had before. Next for me was lobster bisque which we joked about actually having lobster in it. This too was extremely good. We both had the filets for our main course and they were very well seasoned and cooked to our expectations. To end the meal we had the butter cake. Let me tell you the wait is worth it - perfect way to end the meal.

“Hidden gem in East Texas! I eat here often and the staff is incredible. Lovely atmosphere with large patio looking out over the beautiful tempest golf club! Great burgers and pizza - although my favorite is the off menu chicken Caesar wrap with home made chips.“
