Elmore's Fish & Wings

The food is absolutely amazing! And the atmosphere feels like you were invited in for family dinner. We had the pork chop dinner plate, with baked beans and potato salad; and the catfish dinner plate with fried okra and Mac and cheese.Everything tasted fresh, and was made to order.We even got to sample some of their coleslaw, and my husband didn’t put it down!We whole heartedly recommend this restaurant, and definitely tell Ms Diane hello! She’ll take good care of you! :)

They should update the website. We pulled up close to 4 and was told they weren't open.

Me and my husband have been looking for a new fish and chips restaurant. We used to go to The Catch. The Catch is no longer in Killeen or Temple. We went to this place after reading the recent reviews. We decided to go in to check it out and not judge it based on the the outside. It looks really dirty, there is trash everywhere and in a bad part of town,but I told him let’s give it a try. It might be one of those mom and pop restaurants hole in the wall that ends up being a diamond in the rough. we walk inside there’s one gentleman sitting in the room watching TV. The guy that’s cooking only one person in the kitchen doesn’t turn around to acknowledge us doesn’t say hello. He has his back to us cooking in the kitchen. We’re standing there for a good 5 minutes. Looking around at the place. The building is in horrible condition. The roof is falling apart. Wallpaper is peeling off, the broken record machine has roach eggs and skins inside of it. My husband then decided he doesn’t want to eat there anymore as we are walking out I turn and ask the guy cooking. Is there a menu we can take home he said something under his breath without turning around, so I repeat myself thinking he didn’t hear me, and I said, is there a menu to take home? He turned and looked at me with a mean scowl and says take a picture I said "what" and again he says take a picture and turns back to the food. We will not be back.

Great fish and pork chops. Cooked fresh but took some time.

Best catfish period been here 12 years only place I trust and the chicken wings are fire ?

I love this place the food is well seasoned you get a great portion of food and a drink comes with meal .

Elmore's food provided me and my family with delicious meals. Food was superbly prepared with great customer care. My family enjoyed the food and look forward to returning for more. Elmore's have been a staple in the community for years and is much appreciated for the service it provides. Love the chicken and fish...

HOLE IN THE WALL WEDNESDAY-RECOMMEND!It don't look like much from the outside, and you might get second thoughts when you walk in. But this place has some awesome food. I had the fried chicken and it was some of the best around. Def recommend.

I can’t really even write a review because I went there and it says it’s open, but it’s not open. I’ve also been calling the phone number and no one answers. Is this place shutdown?

Off first look you’d not even look again…. Until you realize that is is a DAD operated place! Nothing fancy about it .. tables, chairs and good ole home cooked food!!!!!! Don’t sleep on Elmore's Fish & Wings

Great sould food still priced the way it was 20 years ago! ?

The Whiting was seasoned well, but the coleslaw was runny. The meal came with two sides and a drink, but not too many options for someone on low carb or don't eat pork.
