“I will say that the staff has improved greatly, especially the daytime staff. That is why I am giving them 4 stars. I still won't go there at night, because of the drugs being smoked out the back door by the drive thru and you never knew if you were going to be ok eating the food from the night staff. They used to make food that was not only the right temp, but is outright non-existent. We've had issues in the past where they outright left 2 out of 3 items out of the $5 box and accused us of lying. Never gave us the items or reimbursed us. This happened a total of 4 times with different family members at different times. We stopped going there for almost a year. I have 11 children, so you can imagine what kind of sales they missed out on from us. Big mistake, huge mistake...?‍♀️”

“When they say get there early you should listen. I went on a Saturday. They have numbers for people to get before opening because there is a line. I didn't get there early enough to get a number so i had to get in line. The food is so worth the wait.While waiting staff came through helping and I got a shiner bock in a can. When I made it to the order line we had a loaded baked potato with chopped beef sauce on the side and half a lb of jalapeños and cheese sausage.I would've liked more chop beef but it was still enough to share between two people. Also the sausage was perfect on all levels. Looking forward to going back again to try something else.”

“Dined in tonight at Craft Grill, had the pleasure of having Paige as our server. She greeted my table with a smile and was extremely friendly. Paige recommended a few items to us. Her recommendations did not disappoint. The chicken fried steak is hands down the BEST chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. It’s not chewy or tough. The breading is actually seasoned. It doesn’t fall off the steak like most places. The gravy that comes with the CFS is 100% homemade. You can tell the love they put into it. She also recommended the Gouda grits as my additional side and there just isn't enough good things to say about them. I had not one single complaint. Paige really took care of us, will definitely be back. If you have the opportunity to sit in her section, give her recommendations a listen!”

“The food, atmosphere, and service were exceeded beyond our expectations! The enchiladas, quesadillas, and empanadas were all amazing. The food was filling and tasty without being overly heavy. I would give this a 12/10 if we could! The restaurant was full but not busy and the family service made us feel at home even with our rowdier young kids.”

And they have quite a few options for food depending on how you feel. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Portion sizes are just enough to get me back to work without making me overfull and laggy at work.”

“Despite having tried multiple AYCE sushi restaurants around the West Houston area, I was very surprised to have seen Sumo Sushi come up as one I hadn't been to. Over the years, many AYCE sushi places within the $20 range for lunch have appeared, and Sumo sushi is yet another one to have entered the market.Despite this, Sumo Sushi is doing something to set itself from the crowd. I went for their lunch price (which they also have on Saturdays) and enjoyed a wide selection of their appetizers, nigiri, and specialty rolls. One of the issues I noticed with some AYCE is the lack of fish quality and overbearing rice vinegar taste. None of these issues were present for Sumo Sushi. What's more, their deep fried appetizers tasted evenly cooked. This rang true when I tried their shrimp tempura roll, a roll I avoid commonly since the tempura battery is undercooked at some AYCE sushi restaurants. Our server, Tiffany, was also amazingly attentive, and ensured we never went a long duration without being able to order more.Overall, for $20, Sumo Sushi excels in providing excellent quality and value. They offer everything I feel competitors lack and don't seem to be plagued with common issues that come with a $20 AYCE. Of all of the AYCE I've been to (Taizzi, Sushi Masa, Sushi Ichi, J&J kitchen, Mikoto, Sushi 9, Sushi Haya) this is now my go-to AYCE sushi place.”

Brother Hasnat who is the manager here is like a family now, he works tirelessly and diligently to keep the place running and food quality up to date. Chicken biryani is a must try even-though a bit spicy but the best. Chicken rashmi kabobs and malai booti are also very good. Overall fresh food every time and very decent portions of Pakistani food.”

“I went to have lunch with my parents. We had to wait for a seat, but it was less than 15 minutes. I had the portobello sandwhich on texas toast with a side of green beans. Both were the best of each I remember having. The texas toast was lightly but well toasted enough to have some crunch, and the mushroom was thick and delicious. It was by far the highlight of the visit, and honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had, period. Eveything about it was just perfect. The service was great, especially with my mom having some special needs, but our waitress was attentive and made frequent laps around our area. It's a bit expensive, but the food is great. Honestly I'm kicking myself for not trying it out sooner.”

I have 4 stars for atmosphere because even though it's outside people will smoke no matter where they sit. There should be smoking signs. My daughter and I had to inhale this man's smoke while we were eating. We are outside but his smoke directed at us the entire time.”
