“The food was good, but overpriced. I paid $23 for one burrito and a drink. The stuff didn’t warn me about the additional charges when was asking what I would like to get. Also, the receipt didn’t show those additional charges as a separate line item. Apparently, it was all added to the burrito price. Which is strange, like they are intentionally hiding it.“

“Good Mexican home cooking. Sounds cliché but it reminds me of what my mom and grandma makes.“

“I almost passed this little spot for breakfast tacos up for the TXB across the street...that would have been a HUGE MISTAKE. I had the Mexicana tacos and added cheese along with sausage patties on the side....chop the sausage and throw it in the taco....HELLLLLLLL YAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS!!!!!“

“Wow! My recent visit to Los Vaqueros Cafe & Grill was an absolute revelation. This place serves up some of the most authentic and delicious Tex-Mex I've had in a long time. The moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat.
I had to try a little bit of everything. The menudo was a standout—rich, spicy, and loaded with tender tripe and hominy. It's the kind of dish that makes you feel at home. The carne guisada was another highlight; the meat was fork-tender and the gravy had a depth of flavor that can only come from a well-loved family recipe. And don't sleep on the breakfast plates! My huevos rancheros were cooked to perfection, with a savory ranchero sauce that was simply divine.
If you're tired of generic chain restaurants and want to experience true, authentic flavors, put Los Vaqueros at the top of your list. This is the real deal.“

“First time here, I ordered the verde enchiladas and my husband ordered chicken fajitas. The chips and salsa were soooo good and the server (forgot his name) was really nice. We just moved to Kyle so this will for sure be our spot when we are wanting some Mexican food Tex mex
Right next to the restaurant there is a popular dessert place so parking was limited“
