“Friendly atmosphere, always a good time”

“Saw this place on Apple Maps and my eye was caught by what looked like a mini Taco pizza. I was not disappointed HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying that because it was easily some of the best pizza I’ve eaten 10/10 even took some home for the next day.”

“Just recently discovered this place and love their bread. The tamales are so good as well, we were planning on ordering from here for holidays. Would’ve given it 5 stars which to me is worth it because of the bread and awesome tamales, but the service from one lady leaves a lot to be desired. Rude for no reason. Don’t know if we’ll be going back, which is unfortunate because their stuff is great.”

“I WILL NEVER get shrimp cocktail at any other place except here! They have the best! Full of flavor with jumbo shrimp and avacado! Tacos are great, sea food is awesome, baked potatoes are huge, and fresh lemonade is perfect! If I could, i'd eat here twice a day every day! 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!”

“Friendly and engaging employees, location was clean including restroom. Tables were clean. Lobby was full of customers and my order was out quickly. One of the better experiences at Whataburger. I did dine-in, employee stopped by twice to ask if I needed anything.”

“I cannot stress enough how much I was shocked by this place. The most unassuming facade you could find on a pizzeria, but nonetheless spectacular eats. If you go, get the Stromboli. An almost unbelievable value for money and exceptional quality, even compared to the standard faire in New York. If you find yourself moving through Mercedes, it is a disservice to yourself to not stop here. 10/10 stars.”

“I drove 28 miles from my house in Brownsville to Lara’s Bakery in Harlingen to buy sweet bread for my girlfriend who is under the weather. She loves their sweet bread. I arrived 10 minutes before Lara’s Bakery opened. There was a line of people waiting outside. This is how good tasting sweet bread is sold here. Two ladies attending the customers are fast and friendly. Majority of customers were taking boxes of sweet bread plus a couple of bags..”
