I have eaten the firehouse sub in Laporte maybe a year and a half or two years ago and really liked it and hadn't thought about it again until today when I was driving around and hadn't eaten anything all morning and I happen to be going right by it and I pulled in it is a very nice clean restaurant they have a large number of options for sandwiches from clubs to the steak and cheese and poor boys. Two stars. That’s one for a good sandwich and one because I’m a firefighter. I won’t eat here again though. Every trip is a fiasco. Horrible customer service. I know the menu better than their employees do. As I’m typing this we pull up to the window and the kid working the window might be 11 at the oldest. I don’t know what kind of sweatshop sandwich store this is but I’m done here.
