“Stopped there last year on my way to see my sister in New Braunfels and got me some pancakes, they put some extra silverware in the bag and it was two sets of pancakes where I ate one in the car and one at my sister’s house before I went to church that Sunday in New Braunfels and I know that Saturday was busy when I came in there. Thank God my stuff came out and I was too grateful.“

“1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!“

“Great food and wonderful service! The waitress wad cheerful and informative! (our first time there) The only suggestion I have is that the chairs were very uncomfortable.It wasn't just our table of seven. I saw other customers struggling. just a consideration to think about. I give the a 4.9“

“Just happened to be traveling through Waco and decided to stop for some food and a drink; happened upon Barnett’s Whiskey House and I’m glad we did. The food was most excellent, the atmosphere was good and the service was top notch! Looking forward to hearing the live music later this evening. “Amazing burgers and even better service!! I highly suggest the Patty Melt, just know going in that it’s 2 patties. My husband enjoyed the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon burger and because it was the burger of the month, got 6pc of bacon as well as made a donation to the Kevin Bacon Foundation 😊 We went on a week day, and shortly after they opened. It wasn’t too crowded and service was fast! Definitely a recommend from us 👍“

“Omg I dont know where to begin. The lady who runs it stayed late so we could order and get food ro start with. The food? Absolutely amazing, being from south texas this is the closest thing to real mexican food since being in south texas! And now for the portions.... 2 or 3 people can get full off 1 serving of whatever you order.
This place is a hidden gem! Do yourself a favor and go eat there and help a small local owned business in the process“

“Great food place! The food is tasty and the prices reasonable. It’s more of a pick-up food place rather than a stay-and-eat place.Their strong suit is their chicken package with 1 whole chicken, rice, charro beans, tortillas, grilled onion, and salsas all for $20. It feeds about 4 grown hungry men and it’s a good deal. It is ready in about 3 minutes.The chicken has a good flavor of being grilled over coal. The rice is decent. The charro beans have good flavor. The salsas are good but the green one is especially good.The taqueria has a wide range of food. They also have a rib package which is a bit pricier than the chicken but still good and tender. The pupusas are good and made on the spot so it has a bit of wait time. Their fresh waters are good and huge. Their tamales are good sized if a bit lacking in taste.There is ample parking and wheelchair accessible.Try this place it’s really good, with a wide selection, and reasonably priced.“
