Lake Jackson Seafood Reviews
I have been going to Lake Jackson seafood for many years now and never have I been treated so rudely as I was today by the management! All over a misunderstanding on my order that was brought to the table incorrectly TWICE!! I understand mistakes are made….but then when I asked them to correct it the third time they charged me extra for what they forgot to put on my plate! Wow! The manager was rude! I will no longer visit this establishment!!
Salad is pitiful, grilled veggies mostly whatever is cheap and always undercooked. I’ve tried numerous times to like that place but it’s a nope
Raw fish, fries weren't cooked all the way. Served us Red Snapper instead of Salmon! Forgot our gumbo until we asked for it (should of cancelled because it was GROSS). Crab cake was not cooked all the way and tasted horrible. Ice cubes were in my salad. The Calamari appetizer was not very good at all, worst i've ever had! Will never go back. Our waitress was very nice that's about the only good thing I can say about the place🤮 & no we did not complain, just left all the food...read full review

Lake Jackson Seafood is a great local spot with a casual atmosphere, welcoming everyone from swimsuits to work boots. The food is cooked well, with gumbos that vary but are always tasty. The fried fish and shrimp are highlights, although the fried shrimp can sometimes be overcooked and hard. The calamari can be a bit chewy as well. The service is quick, making it perfect for a lunch or dinner visit. The restroom could use a deep cleaning, and the place could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. While the crab cake was noted as interesting, it won’t stop customers from returning. The specials are always generous, and many find that they can enjoy a meal for under $35 with plenty to take home. Overall, it's not a fancy dining experience, but a good place to enjoy delicious seafood, including fried catfish that is tasty and different from the typical cornmeal batter, and support a local business. The waitresses are super helpful and friendly, making it a welcoming environment.
