All of the employees we interacted with were nice and informative on our coffee questions. The seating areas are Super comfy and spacious. This is a great study and work environment. Now my only critique is within the bathrooms, there are no changing tables for the babies so parents, bring your stroller accessories to get the job done. The coffee itself is very smooth, just a little acidic and a bit flowery. “I arrived and said hello and waited for the lady to come out from the back room. She was nice and ask what she could get me. I ordered my two Donuts, which I was kind of surprised if the price. When I got to where I was going and ate them, they were good, but not spectacular. I sometimes say a donut is a donut, but I've come across several that have been much better than others. Darling atmosphere but I'd rather have great donuts at a good price.“

“The Millennial Falcon was fantastic. The team members were incredibly attentive, kind and patient. Very helpful explaining everything since it was our first time in. The ingredients they use are clearly fresh and of top quality. The cherry on top, they use Onyx coffee. This is almost always a sign that the owner cares about quality.“

My second time here the other day, macchiato was kind of disappointing. This will not stop me from revisiting. I loved my americano, lavender latte and honey + vanilla latte. “Had lunch with my travel buddy next door at Graffiti Pasta then over to their neighbor, TG of Verona. She and I had been to Greece in the spring and sampled their gelato which we thought couldn't be topped. Well, TG of Verona did it! Loved everything about this place and, of course, the gelato was fabulous! I had a small cup of coconut gelato and pistachio gelato I will go back for more. The best frozen treat on the square by far! Sorry, no picture - gobbled it down before I realized I didn't take a snapshot.“

Ham is very fresh and tasty. Fried egg. The bread on it is fresh and whole thing together made me slow down to slowly savor every bite. The breakfast taco and salsa, oh so amazing and tasty!! Glaze donut as a dessert. Glaze donuts are gigantic!!! So delicate, light, fluffy, not too glazy and not too sweet. Cinnamon donut holes are delicious and can be an addiction if you get too many. Glad I tried it.The menu is largely breakfast fare, but salads, but lunch items such as sandwhiches and even chicken fried steak are available at all hours.I had a greek style omelet and my wife a good size chicken & bacon wrap.Both items were very good, and unlike many cafe type restaurants, not greasy and somewhat healthy.Serving sizes were large, but not overwhelming (both of us took some home). The Large islander frappe 1/4 sweet may be a blessing from heaven, but is all about the staff. They are the best group, and I feel my day doesn’t start until I get to say hi. They surprised me and sang happy birthday today, they know my dogs names, my church home, they have networked and got my son a PRO baseball pitching coach. They are my friends.“

“My only complaint is that this location needs to fix/repair their drive-thru. Scooter’s is a drive-thru coffee shop and theirs is tore up and beat up. Seems as though it’ll knock your car out of line when entering and exiting the location.“

“Hands down the BEST chai latte ever. The flavor is so powerful without being overwhelming. You can tell the spice and chai is truly sourced well and authentic. Today I tried their seasonal sunshine chai which was also spectacular. There is something so satisfying about the perfect chai on a Saturday morning and I don’t go anywhere else for this other than here.“

Visiting from out of town and family that lives in Denton recommended that we go on a Monday midday so we could have either breakfast or lunch with no crowd. Lunch starts at 11:00 a.m. if you want to enjoy the entire menu. Staff is friendly and quick to get you started with whatever coffee orders or other drinks you would like. I ordered the butter pecan latte, not all that decadent when you see the other drinks involving ice cream on the menu. So tempting! We came with specific things in mind to order. The Monte Cristo was a must have. The "Almost Famous" Cinnamon Roll was another. The Monte Cristo is a ham & cheese filled breakfast sandwich, dipped in French toast egg dip and deep fried golden and crisp. Served with a pot of blackberry compote and a pot of a vanilla cream, for sandwich dipping or spreading. This sandwich hits all the flavor notes perfectly. Definitely a place that I will come back to the next time I visit Denton!Parking: Fairly large parking lot, but on a busy weekend I'm sure that it becomes more of a challenge.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to bring the kids, they do have items that would appeal to the younger ones. Lots of space between the tables and room for high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, most of the restaurant is on one floor with plenty of room between tables to maneuver.“

“I was there during Columbus Day and they were closing early, so I transitioned to the outdoor seating. It was hot (90 degrees) and sunny and was there a couple hours. I think the owner or manager came to the store to drop some things off, saw me sitting in the outdoor seating alone working on my laptop and just as he was about to close up and leave, he kindly offers me a cold bottle water! I was in town for business and not sure if this was just southern hospitality, but it’s nice to see such kindness. If I am back in town I will definitely come back to the place! Great service!“

“Love that West Oak is open until 9pm, it makes for a great place to study after dark that isn’t on campus. Besides that, their coffee is phenomenal! I wish they had a few more flavor options, specifically sugar free options, but they have plenty of sugar free sweeteners available to accommodate.The baristas are knowledgeable and very helpful. West Oak is a staple on the square and I highly recommend it for studying, a quick coffee break, or a gathering place for friends.“
