“The experience was fantastic. We arrived at the place around 11:30 pm, and despite the late hour, the staff was surprisingly welcoming. Although a few items weren’t available, they went out of their way to create modified versions based on our requests. The cashier, in particular, was exceptionally friendly. We sampled many dishes but didn’t manage to take pictures of everything. However, you really can’t go wrong with any of the items. Be sure to try the Osmania biscuits—they taste just like the ones you’d find in Hyderabad.“

“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad“

“Extremely satisfied with party order! Kuppanna offered multiple varieties in South Indian and North Indian dishes including vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Nanda made it easier for us by spending time with us suggesting menu items and order quantity based on the guest. Their briyani and pallypalyam chicken is top notch with same quality and taste as dine-in. I was doubtful on their North Indian dishes being a South Indian restaurant but they completely proved me wrong. Ordered Mugalai chicken and Malai kofta with Naan. Our guests loved it a lot. Thanks to Nanda, Chefs and cooks at Kuppanna offering us delicious food. Strongly recommended for party orders!“

“Excellent experience at TOD, food was fresh, crispy and very tasty. I love that they keep their menu simple which helps elevate each dish prepared made to order. Kids ate up all their cheese dosas without fuss, the chicken 65 was very tender and just the right level of spice, something not a lot of restaurants get right. The stuffed onion dosas were just amazing, very unique flavor/ tasty. They have a nice ambience, with darts and good music, also shaded under trees. We will be back!!!“

“Food quantity is awesome as compared to other halal restaurants near by. Customer service is on point. Wait time is 5-10 min. Cleanliness is key at this place. Our food came hot and fresh. I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. Will come back again for grill items as we saw some other customers order and it looked yum!“

“The food was ok it wasn’t the best because they didn’t even make it that hot but the service and atmosphere was amazing if the food was better I would have gave it all 5 stars however the chili chicken soup was good, the staff and waiters were very nice. So overall I would say this is a descent restaurant and you can definitely try it for sure.“

“*Update* We have ordered 3 times in 2 weeks and are going to get another order this weekend.... YES, it's that good! We ordered Yak N Yeti for the first time with UberEats, and it was amazing! My husband and I both love Indian food so we have tried several places around the CP/Austin area and this restaurant has the best flavors we've had. The food was delicious, every container was labeled with contents, and we were so impressed with the menu. My husband is vegan and they had plenty of options. They have definitely earned a dedicated customer.“

“I had the opportunity to try Madurai mes express restaurant in Austin. Surprisingly, everything I had was all fresh and authentic South Indian with Madurai touch. After having proper full non veg meal with mouth melting fish masala and pallipalayam chicken, I was wondering whether I am in India or USA. We loved all the food from Mutton soup to unique cool jigarthanda. Wow ! What a food !. Last but not least, hospitality of Mr.Ibrahim was unforgettable with his request, we tried yummy seeraga samba rice mutton biryani.Surely will come back to this place to have finger licking food, when I come to Austin.“

“Had an amazing lunch experience at Nala’s Cedar Park. They have buffet spread that is on the smaller side(compared to others in the area) but amazing wrt taste.
They have Dosa, Poori and Naan served at the table which is great acc to me. Good spread of dessert and complimentary drinks.
90% of the spread was amazing wrt taste and few which can be chalked off as not according to my taste/liking.
Service was good, attentive staff and nice of the host to check in time and time again.
Overall good experience and will be back when I crave for some buffet again.“

“I was a regular at This place when it was under the original management. This past Tuesday, after much reluctance; I decided to give Curry n Hurry another go. I ordered food on my way back from work. While my sister and I were eating on the premises( we decided to order stuffed Parathas to go. Noticeably the place was short staffed. The Hispanic employee was cleaning the outside counters with gloves on. He went into the kitchen and the outside counter was unattended. After waiting patiently for my orders to come, I decided to peek into the kitchen to get his attention. I was totally surprised to see him cook and make Poories for another waiting customer and make my stuffed parathas without ever changing his gloves while at the same time touching food splattered and dried up kitchen door, register, cleaning cloth and cleaning liquids! I got nauseous with the way my food was being prepared! When I brought this to his attention, not only was he defensive but he argued that he was alone managing the kitchen. It seemed changing gloves was a long laborious process! While we are still wearing masks and slowly stepping out with calculated risks, I do not want to take this very visible unhygienic risk by consuming foods that potentially could lead to severe health issues and hospitalizations! The owner of the business was not available nor do I see her often at the location. A young woman who was visible but can barely communicate in English is the only other person managing the storefront of Gandhi Bazaar and Curry n Hurry. Patrons beware! This used to be a family style food place, a clean substitute for home cooking. I am sad to say that I am not going be their Curry n Hurry customer, I am their Gandhi Bazaar customer because of the quality of service I receive from Sanjay Shah.“

“First time eating from here, I ordered the Tawa Gosht (boneless goat with rice) with mild seasoning. It is my first time eating goat, it is tender and flavorful. It reminds me of slow cooked beef. They gave me a generous portion, but it cost over $20, so your opinion may be swayed by your budget. Sam served my food and went into the details with me, and he was very professional and hospitable. I like the location and the atmosphere; very laid back and peaceful.“

“Best South Indian restaurant in Austin (so far) found it better than Sangam, Suprabhat etc.
Tried the thatte idli, Idli vada combo, different dosas - everything was on point, and came in good quantity (except sambar - could do with more of it)
Nice interiors compared to other Indian restaurants“

“I recently visited Egg Laari and ordered their only paneer dish. I think it was called paneer gatalo. It was the perfect portion since I wasn’t super hungry, and it was just the right amount of food I needed. To my surprise, it happened to be their one year anniversary, so they gave me a complimentary gulab jamun as a thank you gift, which was a nice touch. All the food was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly. I would definitely come back and try out other dishes. Highly recommend!“

“Wow. What an experience!
The curried lamb, tender and succulent, is a testament to the chef's expertise in balancing spices and seasonings. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with the rich aroma of curry leaves, cinnamon, and cardamom mingling harmoniously with the earthy sweetness of slow-cooked lamb. Served atop a bed of fragrant basmati rice, this dish is a true celebration of culinary craftsmanship.
Accompanying the curried lamb we ordered samosas, golden parcels of crispy pastry filled with a savory medley of spiced potatoes and peas. The first bite yields a satisfying crunch, followed by an explosion of flavors as the fragrant spices dance on your palate. After a taste of these bad boys you'll understand why these samosas are an irresistible indulgence.
The service from Kanny was exemplary! He was friendly and eager to guide us through the menu and offer recommendations based on our preferences. Whether you're a seasoned spice aficionado or a novice explorer of Indian cuisine, you'll feel right at home in this cozy culinary haven.
I dare you to embark on a flavorful journey today and awaken your senses to the wonders of this Indian cuisine.
Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: There is a playground for kiddos.“
