“The food was amazing. In my opinion it’s the best Korean bbq in San Antonio. Our waitress was very nice and kept coming back to check on us. The owner came to our table and was very nice and helpful. The pickled radishes, kimchi and the kimchi pickles sides are my favorite. (We even bought a jar of kimchi to take with us). The beef bulgogi which we got spicy and the galbi were perfect. The flavor was 100% and was cooked to perfection. 10/10 would definitely recommend.“

“So yummy! What a find! My son was battling a cold and the food hit the spot. Pick up is the best. My family who was “not hungry” ate it all plus we ordered more. Also they validate parking. Wagyu beef soup. Korean chicken. Beef bulgogli. All delicious. The man behind the counter was so helpful and efficient“

“i've been here twice and my bestie and i LOVE this cute lil place. yes it's near downtown, but there's always parking for us. plus the trip is worth it- the drink prices are fair, the kimbap comes with a LOT of pieces and filling, and the service is amazing. all the workers are so sweet and you can tell they love what they're doing!
drinks: so far i've tried the rose milk, matcha milk, matcha&taro milk, and mango milk boba teas, but they're flavored so well. also, when they first opened, i wanted a particular flavor that wasn't on the menu and they made it for me :D the only critique here is probably the boba- it's not as soft and i wish it were sweeter (perhaps more time boiling and more brown sugar syrup?)
food: the kimchi and vegetarian kimbaps are 10/10. all the ingredients taste and look so fresh. the tteokbokki is okay
studying: it's a small space and every time we come it's bustling, so this is great to study in if you like background noise!
extras: they have stamp cards, which is perfect if you're a student. also, you can take cute polaroids and put them up. and they sell cup ramen near the front!“

The location is convenient, and the restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. “Please do not hesitate to come to Garlic Bulgogi! I had passed by this restaurant many times and only now tried it and I regret not going sooner! The staff are so hospitable and warm, the atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. I could go on and on about the food but to keep this short and sweet: the food is clearly made with love, spiced & seasoned perfectly, generous in portions, and just so dang tasty! I will definitely be back, I highly encourage you to visit Garlic Bulgogi 🧄“
