“We went here because we were visiting relatives in the Lewisville area and my kids had seen Elizabeth on Is it Cake? and wanted to see her bakery.The atmosphere is amazing. A lot of careful detail was put into the design of the shop and we felt we were at a fancy tea party. Everyone enjoyed their food and I was particularly impressed with the sausage roll, which is specially seasoned in house, and the wedding cake cupcake. The cupcake was the perfect texture - light, fluffy, and delicious. The frosting was perfectly sweetened and wasn’t overly almond-flavored.I’ve lived in and visited many places and have tried a lot of “famous” cupcakes and this was absolutely the best. The Honey Lavender Latte was delicious too.Overall we were delighted that we could have such a nice experience in a bakery like this. I’m sure the bulk of their business is high-end cakes and they don’t need to rely on their storefront cafe area, so it is wonderful to be able to sit and enjoy the space. They have several demo cakes to look at and play videos of their work as well. There’s a lot of comfortable seating. This beats waiting an hour in a crowded bakery in a big city where there’s not even space to sit and enjoy your often disappointing food and drinks.Best of all, my kids wanted to meet Elizabeth, which I thought might be impossible but she happened to arrive while we were there and took a couple of minutes to chat and take a picture. That was so kind of her, as she must be incredibly busy running her business. “These are some of the BEST cookies in area!! Highly recommend stopping by Cookie Society if you're in need of a sweet treat! The inside is adorable and is a great grab-and-go dessert option after eating/shopping in Southlake Town Square. The cookies are expensive, but fully worth it for the quality! We ordered a pack of 4 ($16.50) and added one extra cookie. Our chosen flavors were Croissant, Stuffed French Toast, Honey Butter Biscuit, Banana Pudding, and Salted Caramel. Our favorite was the Croissant cookie!! It was unbelievably delicious and so unique. MUST ORDER! Close second for us was the Stuffed French Toast. Already looking forward to my next visit!“
“1st time here and got to meet the owner who was super sweet. The store is very cute and you can see how much the owner is passionate about her bakery. We walked in after eating dinner across the street and even though the shop was in the last hour of closing she was happy as can be to make us feel welcome.There were tons of unique little treats in the display and it was a little tough to choose only one because they ALL sounded SO GOOD. We even grabbed my pup a little dog biscuit. We will definitely return here next time we are in the mood for an afternoon treat!“

“Patty made a birthday cake for my wife. Patty was super responsive with a last minute request for a cake with 2 days notice. Patty was great to communicate with. We quickly worked out a plan based on what I wanted, communication was great (phone, text). We got a three layer vanilla and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The cake was moist, the flavor was delicious. Patty came up with a great looking outside with very little direction from me other than make it beautiful based on a favorite color. Patty had the cake ready hours before the time she committed to (she knew I was hoping to get it earlier). Overall a great experience and a great product. I highly recommend Patty Cakes in Denton.“
“I was in the mood for Cuban food and I found a great review on Yelp of course . It's Venezuelan however. So I ventured out into the Farmer's Branch area , which I should visit more often. This spot is located in a small shopping area. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a smile. The owner explained what was on display . They had lovely desserts but I wanted something a bit more savory. I ordered the tequenos, which is perfectly textured dough in the shape of a mini egg roll stuffed with mozzarella cheese. Completely divine and I didn't realize I needed this . Thanks to the owner who made them fresh! The combination is spectacular. Then, they have this spicy sauce you can dip them into. I also added a milder, "green"sauce that was so good too. Both sauces were good! I also got an empanada that was divine ! Great flavor and a perfect crust. Will be back for the dessert! You will be transported to Venezuela. Worth a try !“
