I arrived a few minutes before the estimate completion time. Food was ready to go within the next few minutes. Food prepared correctly and everything ordered was present. Note: it was a Wednesday evening but the flow of to go orders were steady.“

“I was excited to learn about this place from my son, as we've not found a truly remarkable pizza in San Antonio. We loved Ms Ellies, but since it closed, nothing else has checked all the right buttons on our pizza meter. The crust was phenomenal....thin base, bubbled up charred edges, slight crisp on the surface giving way to the perfect chew. The sauce...perfect in its simplicity...just tomatoes and not much else, if anything....perfect amount of cheese (light) so it doesn't weigh down the pie. Fresh basil. Sopressata. It's a walk-up window, and some small seating areas outside... no dine-in option at present. I can't hold that against them. It's just where they are in their Journey so far. But I do look forward to the time that they have a dine-in area and wine to enjoy with their fabulous pizza.“

I had the lemon butter spaghetti (GLUTEN FREE) with clams and scallops and let me tell you what…it’s hands down the best clam spaghetti I’ve had in my life (and I’ve had a lot of clam spaghetti at all kinds of Italian restaurants). “This was my wife and my first time here at Capo's Pizzeria on Broadway on 02/14. We were looking for a quiet place to have dinner on a Friday night, Valentine's Day, just before an 8:00pm movie. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Shortly thereafter, a saxophonist, by the name of Joel Guerrero, begin to play. The atmosphere could not have been better. The food was 5-star. The service was just as good as the music and food. I had an opportunity to meet a lady by the name of Liz, whom introduced me to the owner, Remi. He could not have been more of a gentleman. “Not much to the place but service was good and cooked to order. Very friendly staff. Would suggest an ice machine as drinks were not very cold. Also fountain drinks would be nice. The calzone is very good as is the sauce. If you are looking for a basic place with good service and food, give this place a try. We will be back“

“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. “This pizza place was interesting, I'm giving it 5 stars because of its inventive and wonderful toppings and the fact that it seems like a great neighborhood joint!

My only dissapointment was that the crust was a bit thin, dense, and hard at the same time. I've had thin crust pizza which I like, but this one was just bordering on too hard to chew a bit. I feel like it was world class toppings that was let down with a less than stellar crust.

We still really enjoyed the pizza! Check this place out, be just be aware that if you're looking for a doughy crust, this place isn't it. And its thin pizza crust could use a little work.“
