“Stopped in for the first time today. Angie was so welcoming and friendly. Her menu has alot of options. We got 2 Drive Thru burgers with fries and potato wedges. She sent a bag of assorted homemade sauces home with to try. It was a great experience and the food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.”

“We frequent this little cafe at least twice a week. I have never had a bad meal here except for the peach cobbler and the carrot cake however, their down home cooking makes up for that. They have daily specials which is great. They get extremely busy during their dinner rush and there’s usually never more than 2 waitresses who are constantly on the move but we’ve never been inconvenienced by that. The staff that work here are friendly and stay on top of everything.”

“Fue una esperienza religiosa! We were going to QT for gas, but it was closed. We went to the Racetrack instead, and tacos called to me. I was in love at first bite….grabbed a handful of napkins in case I drooled too much. I stole the grilled jalapeño from my guy, and went to Glory mid-taco. Sooo good! Thank you, Lindale.”

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.”

“So I have drove past malt n burger for 25 years. Never stopped probably because it doesn’t look like the best place. I seen a post on the Facebook machine and they said how good it was and a great Philly. So today I stopped to pick up a Philly. Well they did not disappoint. I also went into the building to pick up and it was very nice inside don’t judge a book by its cover. I will be back many times and I will try the burger next. A PLUS rating from me.”

“Traveling from Midland, TX on business and my go to choice "Black Rifle" was a pretty good shot out of my way but 1820 was a nice alternative. Also I love supporting local businesses and not big chains owned by people with no soul like Starbucks etc. Great coffee and a nice relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for that morning fix.”
