David Beard's Catfish King is a restaurant with deliciously fried catfish and huge handbreaded chicken strips. The salad bar is fresh and the pricing is fair. The seats might be torn and the building needs maintenance, but the service is friendly and efficient. The fried shrimp lunch special is a lot of food for a good price, and the hushpuppies are delicious.
