1st timer but will definitely be coming back! food was awesome and staff could not have been better. I had the hamburger steak and could not finish it all. can't wait to come back and try something else!
I highly recommend this place. I’ve been here several times in the past couple weeks and every single time the food is great. The service is great. I have zero issues. My husband and I tried to go to the blue duck and took us 20 minutes and still did not get our glass of water much less order our food. Long time lovers of The Mason Jar in Coldspring, we're thrilled they're not closer. We enjoyed dinner last night - 9-3-22 and it sure didn't disappoint. My hubs is crazy to finally have great wings in Livingston. I loved the cranberry almond salad and our visiting daughter loved her egg salad sandwich. None of us had room for dessert but just another reason to go back. There's lots of space, great service and a cool vibe. Big10!!

The Mason Jar Bar & Grill, located at 200 Southpoint Loop, Livingston Texas, offers the best food in south Texas. The restaurant is a little dark, probably because there aren’t many windows. Service is friendly, fast, and amazing. Cody the owner takes southern hospitality to a new level. Staff are friendly, respectful, and giving amazing service. The food is top quality. Most of the menu is fried, but salads and vegetables are available. The lunch special menu is reasonable at $12. Portions are large. The chicken fried steak is hands down the best in the USA. The chicken wings are delicious, the onion rings are crisp and not greasy, and the Philly cheesesteak is good but a bit too cheesy. The banana pudding will make a banana hater fall in love. They also offer catering services and full order smoked briskets. A place worth every penny spent.
