Haven't had a burger at DQ in years as Whataburger is my go to, and no Llano Wharaburger. Wow, my expetitions were exceeded. My double meat burger was fat and juicy with the perfect amount of mayo. Somehow DQ has figured out how to serve a burger without smashing the bun. Whataburger, you've been schooled.
Husband and I stopped in Llano at the Dairy Queen. We went inside to order and eat. It was Noon, so they were busy but had 2 registers open. The young man who took our order was very polite. I ordered a taco (3) basket and a drink. My husband ordered a large Butterfinger Blizzard. I got a cup with ice for my drink after the order was rung up. What can I say? It's Dairy Queen. My husband loves eating at Dairy Queen. I'll admit the chicken and dumplings are delicious. This Dairy Queen is consistent in service and cleanliness.
