Best Little Wine & Books

Adorable, charming, and super friendly. Also very dog friendly, allows dogs inside and outside. This is clearly a popular spot with the locals and as non-locals, we felt very welcomed. The wine was great, and we appreciated the NA beer options too.

Fun little wine and book shop that serves by the glass or bottle and has happy hour 4pm-7pm even on weekends. They have welcoming, friendly staff and several tables inside and on a back patio. Although the sunsets are great here, their most entertaining feature may be their little dogs.

One star for the wine and one for the dog, but otherwise, super unfriendly staff. We read about the place and were excited to check it out but when we walked in no one even talked to us at first. And it’s definitely not a bookstore by any means, just a few cookbooks. Felt pretty pretentious and not for us.

Absolutely love this spot in Lockhart. Met Kaye and instantly became fast friends. She has two dogs: Chicken and Granny (new foster), and they will just make your day. We popped in for a glass of bubbles, and ended up leaving with a few bottles, plenty of dog snuggles, and a new friend. Thanks for welcoming us into your spot, and also for the absolutely fantastic wine!

This shop has some pretty good sake, which is surprising.Stopping by and we had a great time.

First of all, Bless them for all their NA options and being so dang knowledgeable and sweet!
Love this place for it all, whether it's needing help picking out a bottle for an event, having an unwind, need a bite of dinner, or are meeting up with pals for a glass (or bottle) while gallivanting around the square.

Exceeds expectations!

Love, love, love this place. We found it by accident when looking for a liquor store. Ended up staying for a couple of hours, chatting with locals, and watching a parade of tiny dogs. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend. Check out @meetchickenhawkins, he stole the show.

You HAVE to go here!!! Soo unexpected! Your hostess knows so much about wine and saki!!!! The poke’ bowls and appetizers are amazing and the atmosphere is great!!!! Just try it!!!!
