Their own website has the incorrect prices and they don’t have prices posted near where you order your meat. Beware— don’t trust their website to have accurate information

What can't I say about this place. Down home hospitality along with delicious BBQ is a 10 out of 10 every time! From the brisket to the sausage and ribs, I can't say enough. The sweet tea definitely deserves its own mention as it is true, sweet tea. Bring your wallet with as it's gotten quite expensive, but it's worth it.

I don't like BBQ brisket. I think it is fatty and that grosses me out. But if it is Smitty's? I'll eat. It's just that good. This is my number one BBQ restaurant in the world. Luckily, I live close enough to be able to drive there and get some. Highly recommend.

We were in Lockhart for a music festival and when in Lockhart, you have to get BBQ! Smitty's Market did not disappoint. The brisket was cooked to perfection and the sausage was excellent. I usually go for the brisket and skip out on the sausage. but this time, I was all in on both! The atmosphere is very laid back, the menu items were reasonably priced, and the staff are Texas friendly.Parking: Plenty of parking

This is one place we will never go back. Service was about as robotic as a human could be. You walk into a fire pit. It was horribly hot, who's stupid idea was that, this is Texas with heat just as hot as hell, we don't need any help warming up. But the worst thing about this place was the BBQ. We felt it was like eating dehydrated dinosaur, wth is up with that?! The brisket was so tough to eat, my dog wouldn't like it.Mark this off the list for sure to never return. Oh and they charge for pickles, who does that a BBQ restaurant, they might be the only ones.

Enjoyed the Jalapeño sausage!Parking: Park by the smoke, order your bar-bee-que, enter the dining area for sides ( no green salads in Texas). Sodas and ice cream. Enjoy the experience of Smitty's.

We have been coming to Smittys since I was a little girl and now I bring my family. Food never dissapoints, fresh bbq, same friendly staff, fast service (sometimes a little too quick, you feel rushed), place is clean, definitely worth the trip from Austin to this BBQ spot!

We stopped here because we knew it was suppose to be the best bbq in town.walking in we did not feel welcomed, the set up was weird.$131 for 4lb brisket, 6 ribs, 1/2 sausageand buy the sides inside $25 for small sides that have 4 bites. the workers didnot seem happy at all. No TP in the restroom. So the brisket was so freaking tough. no juice. did not tear apart. straight up sucked. i said 4lb thinking its gonna be the best brisket, i was wrong. the ribs were dry. sausage was no good.overpriced, overly cooked.only thing good was: the bite size mac & cheese, the bite size pot salad, pickles, onions.in other words, a waste of money.
