I have been to the Hook and Reel in the past month: for lunch with my mother and dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We have had great dining experiences on both occasions. I personally prefer the Lobster Bisque over the Clam Chowder. The Shrimp Baskets were a favorite with my family. The Sweet Potato Fries and Regular Fries were very good. My favorite was the Seafood Boils. I had mine with shrimp and crab legs - so good! I’m glad that they have options for non-seafood...
Great eatery!! Tasty fare. My first time here.Local friends in Gilmer brought me. Ourserver Brandon was awesome. Greattemperament, and timely. I would love tocome back again. Thank you so much.
Best seafood place I have ever been too in my entire life, the crawfish were great sized and the king crab leg was priced right which is rare, the waiter we had checked up on us the right amount of times which was helpful, aswell as there being no wait or line. The decorations inside were nice too. Great great place.
