This has been an icon for many many years....good down home cooking. If you want country atmosphere and homestyle cooking. this is the place. The chicken fried steakband fried catfish is tge best around.
Excellent experience this evening. My husband and I went for dinner, and we will be back. The atmosphere was relaxing, inviting, and down to earth. Food was excellent, we had the catfish and it was so good. Service was wonderful and prompt. And the restaurant was nice and clean.
Terrific! Friendly, fast service. Delicious food. Good music. We went on a Friday night. They had an all-you-can-eat buffet with fried catfish and chicken fried steak. Perfection! The sides were all tasty, as well--beans, potatoes, salad... Others seemed to like the banana pudding but I wasn't a fan. The bananas were black and it was mostly just vanilla wafers. I hope we get to go back soon.
