“My husband and I were visiting Amarillo and Lubbock and didn’t taste African food for days. So we googled African food and ordered their grilled tilapia, okra and fufu . We also ordered their baked egg snack. Everything we ordered was just so delicious. I Wish I had googled them the very first day I arrived. I am lazy on making reviews but it won’t be fair not to make a review and share this with others who will be craving African food when they are in the Lubbock area.“

“I’m in a different city every week for work and while I’m out traveling I like to find karaoke bars to check out. Tonight I stopped into the Silver Bullet. The whole experience was awesome! Great bartenders, great sound system, great karaoke host. I may stop in one more time this week, I had a lot of fun!“

“The Range is one of the best places in Lubbock to hangout. It’s a great place to gather with family and friends. The atmosphere is perfect and has a safe enclosed area. The food is so good. I don’t drink anymore, but if you are a fan of Chilton, this place has the best one in town. The only recommendation I have for the place is maybe having something more for the kiddos to do, so they aren’t running behind people swinging or trying to entertain themselves. I usually bring crafts for my little one to do and once there was a huge pile of sand on the property, she played in it the entire time with a few other kiddos. So maybe a playground or swing set, would be a hit? Either way, this place is an amazing time.“

“It's a super cool place with live music. Some yard games. The only problem we had when we went is that they had someone very inexperienced behind the bar. It took forever to get a drink. Not her fault, it was her second day. I blame management. They should have never left someone that inexperienced alone behind the bar on a Friday night.“

“We were welcomed with several smiling faces! Our waitress seated us without any wait time. We asked our waitress, Erynn, to recommend a starter. She told us that the Parm Bites were delicious. They did not disappoint. Very good with marinara sauce. She checked on us several times. Erynn took very good care of us! We order THE FIVE BOROUGHS pizza. The crust was crisp, extra toppings and we even had some to take home. We LOVE Parry’s and will definitely enjoy dinner there again! Very friendly and helpful staff!“

It would be a crime not to enjoy it as it pairs perfectly with the meal. If you happen to get Shelby as your server, you’ll enjoy the perfect meal. Mine was finished off with the key lime pie. “It is now called Dos Gringos. We are from Phoenix and lived in far South Texas for a while so we love dancing the Tejano music. The only complaint I have is that they allow smoking inside and I am very sensitive to smoke. Perhaps they could divide it and make the wall closest to the outside door or entrance the non-smoking side. I also love that it's mostly older people and very respectful of others. Also, it is important to know that they do not serve food, and they are cash only.“
