Dario’s Pizza & Calzones

The owner seems to be always in the building making the best fresh pizzas in town! The pizza and calzones from here are cooked to perfection every time, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is phenomenal across the board. Do yourself a favor and swing by for a slice of pizza and calzone, the slices of pizza are huge though so maybe bring a friend

We arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday night following a Texas Tech game. Everywhere else we went had long wait times. Dario's technically closed at 8:00, but they had some pizza and calzones they needed to sell, so they told us we could eat there and they would close up when we left. The food was outstanding and Dario himself was very engaging. We'll be back during normal business hours to try other items on the menu.

Great place to catch a good pizza

Dario's classic calzone was absolutely delicious! The service is quick and they're all very friendly.

I overhead Dario talking to other customers about the quality of the ingredients, so it was reassuring to hear they care about the food they make.

The employees were quick to see that I wanted something while they were all filling out a large order. I asked for salt and didn't wait long for it.

If you love pizza and pizza adjacent food, this is a great pick

Dario's is our absolute favorite pizza place here in Lubbock. The customer service and food are unmatched. Tonight my son locked my keys in my car and I called Dario to let him know I would be late picking up our order. When I got there he made us a fresh order and gave me a drink while I waited. Best food and service ever!

My favorite place for pizza. My friend and I shared meat lovers pie. I love the crust. It has a good bite. I have some several times to Dario’s and it is outstanding every single time . Very friendly staff and excellent food. Can’t beat that!
