Being new to Lubbuck, we are trying to explore as much new eateries as possible. We stumbled upon Earl of Sandwich and we were definitely surprised.
Christian greater us with a smile as we entered the establishment. The menu selection was vast and displayed clearly. Dane had the Tuna Melt A+ while I had the original BLT - A++ .
The bread with fresh and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh & combined with hot and juicy made it perfect. We ate is so fast we laughed and debated whether we should try another BUT decided we will make another for the second course.
Our Hot Sandwiches were served with standard fountain drinks (with the yummy ice) and Miss Vicky’s Chip
We left smiling with the promise of returning.

Ther is not a problem with the food you can get, it is getting anything. They have no flat bread for wraps, now they are not keeping wheat. They leave the phone off the hook at lunchtime, so you can not call ahead. You can not order online because they won't have it.

We were in Lubbock for the weekend and stopped at Earl of Sandwich as soon as we arrived in town on Friday. I had only been to Earl of Sandwich at Disneyland and Disney World before finding this one in Lubbock, just a short 500 miles from my home lol. It’s been about 10 months since I’ve been to this location and I was looking forward to my favorite sandwich, 1762 the original – roast beef, cheddar, and horseradish sauce, and tomato soup as my side. My husband ordered the Italian with a side salad. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit lacking. Oddly, there were no hours listed on the front door. It was unlocked, but still found this strange – there was a sign for store hours, but nothing underneath. There was one young man working, who didn’t seem to want to be there at all. I asked a question about the combo, and he seemed annoyed he had to speak to me at all. So we just proceeded to order and wait for our food. There was tea made, so that was nice, and a few people walked in behind us. When we received our food, there were definitely a couple of “surprises”. My sandwich was warm, there was lots of meat, and the meat tasted fresh, however, it tasted like maybe he wiped the knife off on the bread as the horseradish sauce was incredibly lacking. The tomato soup tasted and was the consistency of something from a can, but tasted okay. It was very hot though. My husband enjoyed his sandwich, and the salad, but the salad was served on the same paper used to wrap the sandwich in on a full tray lol. It was just odd looking, as I’ve never received a meal anywhere served like that. Maybe they were out of bowls? I’ve had bowls for salad there before, just super weird. Anyways, I’ll probably head back at least once more next time we’re in Lubbock, but I won’t be making a special trip.

Super frustrated that we stopped by last night at 7:51pm. The open sign was still lit but the door was locked and the employees were all on there phones. 2 looked over to see what I wanted but then walked off. Not the best way to run a business.
We came in for our first time and were helped by Megan. She did great! Great customer service, pretty smile and attentive. She deserves a raise. The shop was clean as well ?
