Went here for lunch today based on a coworkers recommendation and I have to say it did not disappoint. It is a Sports bar / Mexican food restaurant, which is a unique combination I have not encountered yet. The atmosphere is your typical Sports Bar with lots of TVs to watch sports on. They have a full bar (did not partake - was working hours). I had the Texas Lunch (Carne Guisada). I generally judge Mexican Food restaurants on 2 things, Salsa and Carne Guisada, The Carne Guisada...
Delicious food here! It was our first restaurant we tried when we moved to Lubbock and we go back frequently! The seafood is wonderful and everything we’ve tried so far has been great!
I am not an everyday customer, but I am an every once in awhile customer. The food is always great. The atmosphere is always a vibe. Our recent waitress Crystal, was literally the best. She not only made us feel very welcome, she had us laughing so much. This waitress was definitely a vibe. She stayed smiling an laughing. The way she interacts with her customers is definitely a A+ on customer service.
